Worksheet Past Continuous Tense
अंग्रेजी व्याकरण को केवल नियमों के आधार पर याद रखने के बजाय लंबे समय तक बनाए रखने के लिए अभ्यास पत्र (Worksheets) सबसे प्रभावी साधन हैं। Past Continuous Tense में was/were + V1 + ing के प्रयोग, विषय-क्रिया समझौते (Subject-Verb Agreement) और 6 अलग-अलग वाक्य ढाँचों (Affirmative, Negative, Interrogative आदि) की सूक्ष्मताओं को समझने के लिए वर्कशीट बेहद ज़रूरी हैं।
वर्कशीट के माध्यम से छात्र त्रुटि सुधार (Error Correction), अनुवाद (Translation) और रिक्त स्थान भरने वाले प्रश्नों का अभ्यास करते हैं। इससे उनके आत्म-मूल्यांकन में सुधार होता है, परीक्षा का डर दूर होता है और स्पोकन तथा रिटन इंग्लिश दोनों में आत्मविश्वास बढ़ता है।
परिभाषा (Definition):
जब भूतकाल (Past) में कोई कार्य किसी निश्चित समय पर जारी था या चल रहा था, तब Past Continuous Tense का प्रयोग किया जाता है। वाक्यों के अंत में मुख्य रूप से “रहा था”, “रही थी”, “रहे थे” जैसे शब्द आते हैं।
हेल्पिंग वर्ब (Helping Verbs):
इस टेंस में दो मुख्य सहायक क्रियाओं (Helping Verbs) का उपयोग किया जाता है:
Was: Singular Subjects (He, She, It, Name) और I के साथ।
Were: Plural Subjects (We, You, They) के साथ।
मुख्य क्रिया (Main Verb):
मुख्य क्रिया की First Form में -ing (V1 + ing) जोड़ा जाता है (जैसे: playing, reading, writing)।
