A Visit to the Book Fair (पुस्तक मेला) — Bilingual Edition

English: A book fair is a wonderful place for students and book lovers. It is an exhibition where thousands of books on various subjects, stories, science, and comics are displayed under one roof. Recently, I visited a grand book fair in our city with my parents. As soon as I entered the large hall, I was amazed to see rows and rows of beautifully decorated stalls from different publishing houses. The sweet smell of fresh paper and printing ink filled the air, creating a magical environment for readers.

Hindi: पुस्तक मेला छात्रों और पुस्तक प्रेमियों के लिए एक अद्भुत स्थान है। यह एक ऐसी प्रदर्शनी है जहाँ विभिन्न विषयों, कहानियों, विज्ञान और कॉमिक्स की हजारों पुस्तकें एक ही छत के नीचे प्रदर्शित की जाती हैं। हाल ही में, मैंने अपने माता-पिता के साथ अपने शहर में एक भव्य पुस्तक मेले का दौरा किया। जैसे ही मैंने बड़े हॉल में प्रवेश किया, मैं विभिन्न प्रकाशन गृहों के सुंदर सजाए गए स्टालों की कतारें देखकर दंग रह गया। ताजे कागज और छपाई की स्याही की मीठी खुशबू हवा में फैली हुई थी, जो पाठकों के लिए एक जादुई वातावरण बना रही थी।

English: There were books for every age group. I saw colorful picture books and fairy tales for little kids, science experiments and adventure stories for school students, and novels and biographies for adults. Many students and teachers were eagerly browsing through encyclopedias and grammar books. I spent a lot of time at the children’s section where I bought a wonderful storybook and a Hindi-English dictionary to improve my vocabulary.

Hindi: वहाँ हर आयु वर्ग के लिए किताबें थीं। मैंने छोटे बच्चों के लिए रंगीन चित्र पुस्तकें और परियों की कहानियाँ, स्कूली छात्रों के लिए विज्ञान प्रयोग और साहसिक कहानियाँ, और वयस्कों के लिए उपन्यास और आत्मकथाएँ देखीं। कई छात्र और शिक्षक उत्सुकता से विश्वकोश (encyclopedias) और व्याकरण की पुस्तकों को देख रहे थे। मैंने बच्चों के खंड में काफी समय बिताया जहाँ मैंने अपनी शब्दावली को सुधारने के लिए एक शानदार कहानी की किताब और एक हिंदी-अंग्रेजी शब्दकोश खरीदा।

English: Book fairs are very useful because they encourage the habit of reading. Unlike regular shops, we can look at, touch, and read a few pages of a book before buying it. Moreover, most publishers offer special discounts, making it affordable for everyone to buy good books. My visit to the book fair was both educational and enjoyable. It taught me that books are our true friends because they give us knowledge, wisdom, and endless joy.
